I really thought I could quickly put together a map showing where we are walking and which parts we're driving. Turns out not to be easy (or maybe even possible!) to create such a map. So I'm starting with this aerial view:
Now off to Photoshop with the version that shows the roads, so I can manually add the stopping places and the parts where we're driving. How silly!
OK, here's the resulting map, which I've also used as the blog background for now...
Great maps. And, as I said earlier, it looks kind of impressive from the aerial view. When you published your first post about how you were starting your training regimen, I felt kind of left out. Now I have both feet in the water and I'm headed for the deep end! Love the photos of the places we're staying. They all look so pretty ... never mind the likely landfill or motorway just out of the frame.
ReplyDeleteI think the flexibility that's built into this is going to serve us well. We've got a lot of people with varying desires and physical abilities. There's something for everyone here. Even camping for Michael ...
Fun, fun, fun. Thanks for the blog.
Plus they all look so sunny. I bet on those rare blue sky sunny days, every owner of a tourist establishment goes rushing out to take photos.
